VR Immersive Learning

VR is ideal when the learning requires being immersed in an environment such as with medical device training. When viewed on VR headsets, 360 degree films transport the learner to another time and place. They are then challenged by what they've observed by testing either within the app or directly in the LMS.

In these samples I worked closely with subject matter experts and videographers to create the content and scripting and develop the overall experiences.

Sample 1: Realtime testing and physician feedback

Learners were introduced to a case scenario and asked questions based on the surgical procedure they were observing, all within the VR headset.

Based on their response to a question, the physician would alter his behavior and the decisions he made.

Sample 2: LMS testing and feedback

Learners viewed a live surgical procedure in VR before moving to the LMS to apply what they had observed.
